What tools do I need?

We have complied a list of tools that will be needed to effect a repair to your PS2. We have designed this guide to be as simple as possible, and avoid the need for specialist tools.

The majority of tools you may already have, and some can be purchased from discount stores etc. for very little money.

Basic Tools

	A Philips / Pozidrive / crosshead screwdriver	For the majority of repairs, you will only require basic tools – screwdrivers. Used for dissasembly of the console and laser housing etc.
	Set of minature screwdrivers

Recomended additional tools

	Multi-Meter	These tools are only required for some slightly more advanced repairs, although the Multi-Meter will also be handy for setting up laser eyes.
	Soldering Iron
	Wire Cutters
