WARNING : Never open your PS2 while it is connected to power. Also, after the PS2 is disconnected, electricity can remain in the capacitors of the power supply. Always leave the PS2 turned off and disconnected for about an hour before working on it, and never touch and solder points or component leads of the power supply!
